That so typical analyst for you. Doing all that work and not really going anywhere.

Alright, that's a stern letter for you too.

Some on the board are quite bereft of ideas. Its time for you all join a gym get some exercise and some  time away your keyboard.

Over the last four years I have worked out about 800 times at the UNC Wellness Center at Meadowmont.  The computer system has recorded the following data for me: 1,252.2 miles on elliptical cross trainers, lifted 16,367,956 lbs and have acquired 295,418 FitPoints.  A typical workout involves ten weight machines and 2.1 miles on cross trainer.  I have doubled my upper body strength in this period. Currently, I'm #23 in FitPoints and #11 in weights lifted overall who use the Meadowmont facility.  In my age-gender group I'm #8 in fitpoints and #5 in weights lifted. My resting pulse is 58 and blood pressure is 126/76.

Get some exercise and get a life.  Gene its time for daddy to rein in the boys.

Don't listen to them Analyst.  Political ideas aside, I think it is commendable for a man your age to exercise this much.  You keep on getting it done.  I hope when I am your age, I take my health as serious.

I did some research and here is what I found:

Since 1997 Mr. Voller and affiliated enterprtises have paid over $178.000 in proprty taxes to Chatham County and the Town of Pittsboro.

He paid and his wife paid their taxes and his company paid its taxes.

He only has a minority stake in the firm in question.

It is common for tangible assets to change form year to year and be subject to negotiations.

All of the companies were listed in his name. It would seem if he was too open. For that he deserves egg on his face.  It begs the question: What about all of the companies that could be owned by anyone in Chatham County that have names that no one can trace?  I could find no Pittsboro land owning reference to Mr. Goodnight from SAS, but people are always referencing him as a "landowner" in our area.  Why?

Finally, the business with the former town manager can be requested from the town. The minutes are public and anyone can see what the board decided and why.  It appears the former town manager made a reasonable offer to the board which was rejected.  I also read that he was given deferred prosecution and he and the trooper settled. So it goes.

Nice "explanation" Jeffrey.

And nice job of trying to bury the Voller story again.

What won't be buried is the clandestine meeting when Sam offered his resignation at Voller's home with Starkweather in attendance.
Sooner or later the powers that be will have to leave Starkweather in his rightful place as a concerned citizen like the rest of us instead of as a behind the scenes advisor.  Even if the so called coalition, which I understand he helped or did found, owns their candidates, they need to leave him in the dark like the rest of us remain.  He was an aid to their getting in office but I suspect their oaths of office are not to Starkweather but to the laws.

Wonder if Randy is going to pay his taxes on time this year?

According to the tax website, all taxes were paid for 2009.  They were even paid early in November.

Dang it, Wolfster, will you stop being so fair and honest. You're taking all the fire out of no-Integrity Ticket's baseless mud slinging.

The man who pays his taxes two months late is running for Pittsboro mayor again?
