Family Wellness and Recovery Services of NC, Inc., located in North Chatham County, offers long-term residential and aftercare treatment to pregnant and parenting women who have substance abuse disorders. Pregnant mothers may bring up to two additional children, ages 0-18 years to treatment.

We are a non-profit corporation consisting of people interested in preserving and communicating the history of Chatham County, North Carolina. We invite anyone concerned with the preservation of local history or genealogy to belong to CCHA. We have over two hundred fifty members, including corporate members, living in Chatham County, nearby counties, coastal to mountain North Carolina, and in twenty-one of the United States.

The Friends of the Pittsboro Memorial Library is an association of people interested in books and the promotion of the full use of the library as a valuable and vital community resource. The Friends provide various programs for the community, including: Fundraising and Planning for the new Chatham Community Library scheduled to open in early 2009, Author and Speaker Presentations, Reeves Auditorium Gallery Exhibits, Book Sales, Scholarships in Library and Information Technology, Book Purchases, Community Reads, and Children’s Programs. Since 1968, the Friends have devoted its efforts to he;ping the Library serve essential community needs. Join us in celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2008!

The NHS Arts Education Foundation is a community initiative dedicated to ensuring excellence in arts education by identifying, creating, and supporting programs that enrich learning, foster student achievement, and increase community involvement.
